Well turkey day is over and I'm quite stuffed but that piece of apple pie sure looks good..guess I better wait till in the morn to have with my coffee...John hope your day was good...did you get to spend it with any family or friends? I sure hope so...is it snowing there yet? Put my Christmas tree up this afternoon and will decorate my fireplace tomorrow. ...Christmas is my most favorite time of the year... not the hustle n bustle ...not the presents.. but sweet childhood memories and being at grandma's house :) Sending you a pecan pie ..If your UPS guy has a fork in his hand ...we know where your soup and my pie went lol... take care my friend...Bert from Bama
Hi Bert, sure glad you had a nice day. Mine was quiet, no family left here and all my close friends live remote. No invites so, had to amuse myself. Christmas is very special. That darn UPS guy, probably a woman, lol. Have a good night.
A belated Thanksgiving Blessings to you, John. Tho you had a quiet day, hope it was a good one. I had a busy Wednesday preparing, then yesterday DD and her family came and DD's in-laws came, too. So there was 7 of us gathered around the table, laden with good food. Did you fix yourself something special? After a bit of a nap, the guys went out target practicing. I have a range set up in a caliche pit in my field.
Hope your weather has gotten colder for you. We are in the 70's thru Sunday! Then another norther drops the temps again. Cotton harvest is underway, so hoping for dry weather until it's done. Then it can snow all it wants. We need the moisture.
