What a weekend, it was great

I really enjoyed this weekend. I went to town on Wednesday and got my second Covid shot, it was snowing 🌨 that morning 🌄 but, it wasn't Sunny.

Alaska Native Medical Center
I started practicing taking photos 📷 with my 📱

These photos were taken about 8 pm.
I feel the phone did good but it is a bit hard to do my whole post by phone.

This is what made the weekend pleasant ☺ please welcome Freddy to the family 👪.

I bought Freddy on Saturday from a musher who is selling his team so he can move to the lower 48. Freddy knows all his commands. He was a bit skiddish when I picked him up but, he has gotten used to me real fast.

I plan on buying a kicksled to hook him up and run him so he feels at home. I don't know if he can pull my dog sled but, I may try. I also bought a  dog line so,  he can be outside until I can trust him to not run off.

We went to a locally owned Supermarket called 3 🐻 and bought a fire ring so we can sit out at night with a 🔥under the stars🌟 and Northern Lights.

Well, that's it for now, hope you enjoy😉 this post and now with Freddy here, I'm sure I will be posting more. Take care.

Lots of snow

Hi everyone, we are getting lots of snow right now, it's coming down heavy as I type. It is beautiful, nice big flakes. My birds must have invited their relatives to visit because, I filled the feeders yesterday and it usually takes 3-4 days for them to empty them. Right now at 12:45 pm they are empty. I think I will wait a day or two until their relatives leave, LOL.

Heavy snow is pushing the trees down

There's 2 sawhorses there and my snowmachine trailer behind them

It's been so cold here, I have used pretty much half of my firewood
                                        Making an appearance
This is a $600 jacket sold by Alaskan Outfitters, that a friend gave me because, he moved out of Alaska to a much warmer climate. I have the pants that go with it and they cost about $400. Nice gift.
                                 Looking from inside my outhouse
Looking towards the back from front of my cabin
My old faithful Ford F150, I love my truck
Gotta get my outhouse in the pictures, LOL
As you can see, lots of firewood gone. I will replace it though
Splitting firewood for the night. I usually wait until around 11 pm to go out and split it, it so peaceful and the stars are out.

WATCH OUT, crazy man with an axe, lol
When I bring the wood in, I stack it under and behind the stove to help dry it out.
This is why I love splitting firewood at night
I will have to learn how to use my camera better or, just use my phone to take pictures. My phone takes great photos.

This is my new weather station,  my old one was to hard to see as it did not light up.
The two top numbers are, left for inside temp. and right for outside.
