What a weekend, it was great

I really enjoyed this weekend. I went to town on Wednesday and got my second Covid shot, it was snowing 🌨 that morning 🌄 but, it wasn't Sunny.

Alaska Native Medical Center
I started practicing taking photos 📷 with my 📱

These photos were taken about 8 pm.
I feel the phone did good but it is a bit hard to do my whole post by phone.

This is what made the weekend pleasant ☺ please welcome Freddy to the family 👪.

I bought Freddy on Saturday from a musher who is selling his team so he can move to the lower 48. Freddy knows all his commands. He was a bit skiddish when I picked him up but, he has gotten used to me real fast.

I plan on buying a kicksled to hook him up and run him so he feels at home. I don't know if he can pull my dog sled but, I may try. I also bought a  dog line so,  he can be outside until I can trust him to not run off.

We went to a locally owned Supermarket called 3 🐻 and bought a fire ring so we can sit out at night with a 🔥under the stars🌟 and Northern Lights.

Well, that's it for now, hope you enjoy😉 this post and now with Freddy here, I'm sure I will be posting more. Take care.

Evening, John, I like that Moon pic you posted above, I really do need to learn to make better use of my own camera. And..Congratulations on Freddy! Nice to have a dog or cat in the house. I had one of those dog lines as well, liked it, good way for the dog to get a bit of exercise. I see he's already got himself a good sized bone to keep him busy and away from any other household items he might be tempted to give a chew.lol How old is he by the way? Take care, M.

Hi M, Freddy is 15 months old, he's getting used to not being in a dog yard. He knows all his mushing commands and in two days he's learned to heel. He isn't really a chewer. He's a pretty good 👍companion.

Hi John! Freddy is sure a handsome guy. Companionship is a great thing. He looks like he has a good bit of Husky in him. I think he will provide you with a lot of companionship & exercise.

Hi Jim, actually, Freddy is Alaskan Husky, he is a 15 month old sled dog. He was in training to be a leader. Hopefully soon I can run him. Thanks for stopping by.

You take some great pictures! How did the second shot go for you? I felt terrible the next day but got over it in about 24 hrs. Love Freddy. He looks like the perfect companion. I'll have to Google kicksled. Can't wait to see pictures of your fire in the ring. Northern lights are on my bucket list. What is something on your bucket list? Thanks for sharing your life.

Hi Passport, the first was fine, the second? My arm hurt for two days and turned black and blue. Freddy is a great companion. What's on my bucket list? I don't have a bucket list because, I don't want to be disappointed in not achieving anything on the list. I will give it some thought.

Hiya John love the awesome pics. Sitting out at night taking in the wonderment of the Northern Lights must be breathtaking, I would so love to see it. Looks like you found a buddy in Freddy & a good companion. Glad you got second vaccine, got mine yesterday & by bedtime my arm , shoulder & neck were extremely sore @ had low grade fever & felt tired. Didn’t sleep well & have layed around most of day, but feeling ok now. Looking forward to post about your daily life with Freddy. Have a great weekend & take care ..... Bert From Bama

Hi John....Well congrats on the addition of Freddy to your house (and heart)....My wish for you boys is many fun times together in memorable spots for a very long time! We finally got a spot of snow here - nothing in the quantity you all get up there but it caused quite a stir here............especially with the children (and me!)
Enjoy your new addition and thank you for taking us all along on your journey!

Looking good all around John.
Nice looking dog especially. Huskies make great friends.
We are many months off to get vaccinated here in Canada. Stuck inside too much with travel restrictions.

Take care!

Hi Chris, thanks. I'm sure me and Freddy will have some good times coming up. We have been getting lots of snow and still getting more. It's starting to feel like the old days again.

Thanks Evano, I hate these restrictions but, I guess they are necessary. I sure hope you get vaccinated soon. Stay safe.
