Small update

Well, not a whole lot going on. Got another few inches of snow, temps. started warming up again and the sun is getting higher which makes my solar panel work better. As many of you know, I bought a brand new snowmachine,  I decided to buy a new frieght sled to haul things. I bought a new Otter sled, 85"L 44"W, 17" deep.

I have been thinking a long time about adding another window to have more light to read so, I did it.
Before
Now

Well, that's it pretty much. Take care

Hi John :) I like the added window, it makes the room look bigger, and you get more of a view too! Your cabin looks so cozy! :)

Thanks John, the sled will hold a lot of things to take out to the cabin.

John......The additional window is a great improvement! You can now see more of the outside beauty around you...always good. The curtains add a homey touch, too. I like the idea of the sled to "schlep" stuff in.....now to see what you haul in it - the possibilities are fun to imagine! I can picture my two dogs in that for sure.....that is their speed. Have fun - thanks for the post - it is always fun to see what you are up to!

Hi Chris, thanks for checking in. The window makes a big difference in the cabin. The sled is big enough to carry a lot of things I need at the cabin. It will also save money in the long run from using frieghters. Stay tuned.

Looks great John, I love those curtains.

Glad to see you are posting again, you have come so far on your cabin. I read your entire blog backwards and so the last posts that I read were when you first bought the place. You need to give yourself a huge pat on the back John!

Thanks Dee, my town cabin is coming together finally. I have spent a lot of time on it. Now, I need to spend more time on my remote cabin.

looks like a nice peaceful quiet spot, nice. I loathe the sounds of the city, horns, screeching tires, sirens, just the relentless din of people clammering about nothing. Keep it simple, keep it dry, warm and above all, peaceful.
