MORE STUFF

Good morning everyone, good to be posting again. I will start off with breakfast this morning. 2 eggs on toast.

I hope you will enjoy this post, lots of changes. To start off, I bought a couch that becomes a bed, I bought it from an elderly German women who shipped here from germany. It has storage under the seat.

It's very comfortable but, a busy design so, I put a cover on it.

I did a little more remodeling. Remember my shower? Gone.

I took the work bench out of the Arctic entry and installed a shower. I got the shower base free.

I added a few more things. I didn't really care for the tall table and stools.

Last but not least, I bought this 2 place trailer, $1500, great deal to transport my Arctic cat snowmachine

AND my 2018 Polaris Indy 550 LXT

This machine is like driving a BMW. Hope you enjoy. Take care.

John.....You HAVE been a busy boy! I like the idea of the shower. The sofa sure has traveled far to get to you, huh? That means it was meant to be yours! I hope you enjoy the results of all your hard work.....that is the fun part! Chris

Hi Chris, thanks. Things are a changing and for the good. The couch is very comfortable. I don't sleep on the floor anymore. More news to come, stay tuned.

Hey John
Nice Ride. is that a 4 stroke ? Have you put enough miles on it to determine gas mileage ?
nice looking trailer too. when are you going to fire up the new machine and ride it to your remote property ?

it took me awhile to figure out how your new shower was going to work.. couldn't see the blue jug until I enlarged the photo.. I guess you take an old fashioned Navy Shower... Wet down, soap up, rinse off... You could almost use one of those on=demand propane water heaters.. but you'd probably have to rig up a water reservoir up on your roof and rely on gravity fed supply.

Stay Warm

Hey John, it is a nice ride. Not a 4 stroke. I am making plans now for a trip out. For now, it is Navy showersbut, I've always showered that way.

Hi Wash, I do like the solar, using the generator less. I still have the shower. Interested?

Hi John, Nice hardy breakfast and looks good! I love your changes. That fold out couch/bed is a great idea and with storage too! The shower in the arctic entry is a perfect idea giving you more free space in the cabin. Your place is looking great! The trailer is great to haul your sleds around. Nice job John!

Thanks Carol, things are changing and I feel this is a good year for me. Take care

I believe Seth would like the shower. He is very tired of the short ice fishing tent. At least until we can get ours set up in the cabin. I'm hoping we can do with out the generator for a long time when I get the solar set up this summer. I would prefer not using it at all but we know that wont happen so.... LOL I am cleaning out and getting rid of stuff here as quick as I can. Figuring if I have to move there will be less to move and it all can fit over there. We will do the additions to the cabin and the roof on the shop this summer then the building is done. I will eventually need to get a metal roof on the cabin.

Sounds like you are making progress. Seth is welcome to my old shower. Stop by

We will be heading out that way some time in the next week or 2. We need to take some things out and drop them off to get them out of here. LOL We will drop by then.

Looks great John! Thanks for posting! One of the greatest things about living free is that if something doesn't suit you, you can change it. Nice sleds too! -Dave in PA
