Couple more fire pictures

I have 2 more fire pictures.

This is as close as I would want a fire to my place. That family had no insurance and lost everything they own. Very sad.

To close for comfort

It's  about 1:30 am and there is a cabin behind me on the other side of the trees about 300 ft. Fully engulfed. The flames are pretty high. I don't think I will get any sleep tonight.  I'm ok so far and the fire crew are doing a hell of a job. I will keep you posted.

Mo snow

Well, we got hit with more snow, it snowed for 4 days and just kept piling up and I kept clearing it. Today, I woke up to 24 degrees and the sun is out shining bright. This makes me happy. This morning I made an outstanding breakfast. It's fried potatoes, Caribou sausage and eggs. It was delicious.

After coffee, I went outside to see how much work is to be done and this is what I have to do.

I will have to get it cleared because, I am planning to make a trip to the cabin either this week or on the weekend. I'm tired of hanging out here. I forgot, this was Mondays breakfast.

I found these Cheesesteak sandwiches in the freezer section of Costco's. They aren't that bad. Put them in the microwave for 2 minutes or the oven {which is better}. They come 12 to a pack.

The days are getting longer and I am getting closer to taking my friend out to the cabin to add the addition onto the cabin. I'm actually getting excited about it and I will have a lot better info and pictures to post. Take care
