But, you can also see them in Anchoage in yards and walking down the sidewalks. We don't have much moose in this area of the lower Laurentians, but I remember seeing a lot of them when I visited Cape Breton in Nova Scotia. They are big beautiful creatures. I didn't know about the colouring indicating the gender of the moose!
