THANKSGIVING

                         Happy Thanksgiving

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and a fun day with your friends and family. I do ask that you think about others who are alone or without means to enjoy this special day and help them if it's within your power.

Happy Thqnksgiving to you too John.
We had ours here over a month ago, gotta start celebrating American Thanksgiving too. Got a lot to be thankful for like turkey!
Hope you find some company to celebrate with, if not your internet friends are all here for you.
Enjoy!

Thanks Evano, 2 Thanksgivings? Interesting, I could handle that. I'm alone again this year but, I do have a ton of snow and a shovel to keep me company. LOL

Happy Thanksgiving John!
You maybe alone physically but you have a great many friends spread out around the world through your blog who would join you in a heartbeat to celebrate if we were closer. Snowball fight..lol! Snow...I'm jealous. The tiny bit we had melted away. Winter is just no fun without snow. Hope you still plan on having something special for dinner.
Happy shoveling,
Carol

John, you are warmly thought of today and always! I love how you keep the holidays in your heart and always seem to express gratitude just by the incidental things you say and do. And the way you remember others. Hope you and your shovel had a peaceful day today.

Good morning Penny, thank you for your kind words. I find myself more and more thinking about those in need. I see how easy it is to have to go without with some.

Happy Thanksgiving to you John. No kids or Grandkids around this year so We went to That Restaurant on the Parks why and they put out a heaping platter of "traditional" Thanksgiving. Had to get 2 doggie boxes filled up with left overs. Best part was note having any dishes to wash..!

You still got snow up there ? got rain down here! Just as the river trails were starting to look good, and now the overflow problem is going to need a bunch of nights below zero to be safe.

Have you fired up either of your son-goes yet? finally got my Skandic running.

Stay Warm, and dry.!

Old John

Hi John, not sure which resturant you I talking about. We got close to 18" but, the rain took care of that. Now it's all ice. Getting around to the snogos now.

hi! John, Wishing you a belated Happy Thanksgiving! Sounds like all the snow is now ice! Ouch! We had a couple inches but it is all gone and warm for this time of the year. Would like some for Christmas and thereafter. I worked out in it for over 35 years and do not miss the shoveling though!!! Or the driving in it! It is beautiful seeing the snowflakes come down in the woods. I hope you are keeping warm with the new wood stove ! Thank you for your posting. KC

Hi KC, HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you as well. We still have snow but, it is hardpacked and slippery. We're due for more snow but, not much. The new stove is keeping me very warm and easy on the wood. Take care
