Just checking in

Sorry about not blogging much lately, to tell the truth, I really haven't had anything to blog about. Even I get tired of the same old stuff around the town cabin. Besides the fact that I have been bored, not to mention lazy.

I have been to most of my appts. at the VA but, they have not shared any test results with me yet. Last week I went and had an eye exam and the news is, no diabetes or anything else was detected although, I need new lenses.

Nothing new on the dating scene, lol. I expected that. That's ok, I have done well on my own but, it sure would be nice to have someone to share everything with. Maybe I should do a blog looking for someone who is interested in this back to basic lifestyle. Who knows?

The days are getting longer and temperatures getting warmer and the day is closing in when I fly out to my remote cabin and start working. Firewood will be the first thing then a new outhouse and root cellar. now that I think about it, it will be a short Summer.

Well, that's it for now, hope I covered enough for everyone. Take care

Hi John, I understand getting bored with blog posting because I'm there too, trying to decide whether to continue my blog, or head in a new direction, or just stop.
Springtime is the time for new ideas and new starts so hopefully that will happen for you in the romance department too. I think most women would find your life too different than what they are used to but there are some women who love wilderness and the bush life so you just have to locate the perfect one for you. Not easy but possible.
Glad your health is better, and that you are getting ready to head out to your more remote cabin for the summer.
Have a great day and take good care of yourself.

Hi terri, thanks for the comment. I suppose when I start working at the remote cabin, I will have more to post. As far as the romance dept. it is tough to find someone to live my lifestyle these days.

Hi, John. Glad you are feeling well enough to be bored! Hope every one of those tests turn out great. We're glad to hear from you. When Spring comes to AK, you will probably have all energy back. I tend to get on the lazy side in the winter, too.

Take care....blessings!

Hi there John glad to see you are still doing well. I would like you to meet my mother. She is around your age and likes alaska, I believe she would be good company for you. She only requires alot of time to knit and crohet things and a walmart trip once in a while, Do you have access to a walmart? Oh and she likes to watch football. That might be the hard part for tring to live in a small cabin if your not a football watcher. Well good luck and let ys know when to head to your summer cabin.
