Clean up time

These past few days have been very rainy and haven't been able to get any work done. Wednesday turned out to be a very nice day and it was time to do something. My place looked like a mess.

This is the overall look

Here is how it looks now

As you can see, I put a tarp on the polebarn, now I will put plywood on top of that. I am pretty much ready to put firewood under it. Woke up Wednesday morning and low and behold ice on the trees up high.

My tomatoe plants are coming along fine although, they are taking a long time to ripen.

Took some random photos for no particular reason

I forgot, after I built the deck, I moved my little freezer on it but, It took up to much room so, I built a little addition for it to sit on. Worked out real well.

The steps and roof for the porch will be next after I finish the polebarn. Other than this, not much going on here except the rain. I woke up this morning and it was pouring and 42 degrees. Me thinks we are getting close to that time of the year. Actually, I am happy that the nights and mornings are getting cooler, can't wait for the days to become as cool. Anyway, I just thought it was time to check in and let everyone know what's going on.

My goodness, you have been busy. Looks like you have lots of lumber for your pole barn.
Your cloud pictures are really pretty. I enjoy cloud/sky pics.
We finally got some rain here in Texas. But, hopefully, frosts are several months away yet. Cotton is not ready.
Take care.

Looking Good John.
Your probably going to have to finish ripening your tomatoes inside this year. Or else go for some fried green tomatoes!

Have started putting garden produce in the freezer here.

Hi Wash, it is raining so much, I may start building an "ARK". I wish it would snow instead.

Got 5 of the 40 birch trees I had delivered, cut up. Still need to split and stack it. I have been working every evening after work for about an hour. My little one has been a great help. I still have anywhere from 5 to 10 more to cut, split and stack.

Hope all is well and you have been able to get out and get some stuff done while the weather has been nice. They say it will be raining for the next week. Not so much fun.

It has been a while. Just checking to see if your ok... LOL
