My old cabin many years ago
Merry Christmas to you too!!! Hope you did something special. Hope the day was great. Wash
Thanks Wash, pretty much spent the day alone. I did visit a musher friend and his dogs. Came back and made rabbit stew.
Merry Christmas, John! I just came home from my kids house for Christmas. Had to get me with 4WD as I have 10" of snow!! So a really white Christmas in NW Texas.Rabbit stew sounds delicious..have not had it since I was a kid. Don't have many rabbits here lately, too many coyotes to get them first.Hope all is well with you. Blessings!
Thanks Cotton, 10"? That's a good snowfall. Time to build a snowman. Hope eberthing went fine for you today.
John, you may have spent the day pretty much alone, but it seems like you have so many friends--at least on this blog--that I'm sure you were in their thoughts and hearts today. I think you touch people's lives. Here's to much success and happiness in the New Year!
Hi Penny, nice to hear from you. You are right about friends on my blog. I will tell you this much, all of you are more of a friend than certain people in the village I just left after living there for ten years. But, a new year and new things are coming.
Merry Christmas John! Hope you had a great one!
Thanks Becky, same to you and your family

Happy New Year John.... Just got back from the L48.. Enjoyed our visit with the kids/Gr kids, but they can have the crowds and the traffic...! Our Younger Son is taking a couple days off this week.. gonna splash our way through the overflow and check on the cabin.. sure hope the metal roof has dumped... Must be over 5 ft of snow out that way... John
