Hot Dog Roast

Today was such a nice day, I decided to have a cookout. So, my friends the Brendemuhl family who live in the village came out to roast hot dogs and marshmellows.
Paul and his wife are both retired Air Force, which makes them a stay at home Mom and Dad. Paul is our resident Bush Pilot and flys for one of the local Air Services.

Here is the family coming out to my cabin. When I spotted them, it looked like I was under attacked,LOL.

We hung out together for a couple of hours and it was nice to have company. It was really nice to have the kids around enjoying themselves. It was time to go home for my friends. I'm sure we will do it again, have plenty of Hot Dogs and buns left over.

                             Leaving for home

I suspect the next time they come out, it will be by boat. Then, it will be my moving away party. After a long cold winter, it was nice to get together with friends. I enjoyed it a lot.

Now that is a big family. Who needs town when your family is an entire community? I love it! How big is their house? I'm glad you were able to enjoy the lovely day. We did too. My husband and I were out working on the garden - well we talked about where we want it to go... that was fun.

What fun! Now I'm craving hotdogs from a grill. Love them a little burnt. :)

What a nice group of friends to spend the afternoon with.

Looks good but looks cold. You need a bigger fire, lol. I bet it was nice to have all that company.

They have 9 kids and their house is two stories with a full basement. They have one of the bigger houses in the village. I can't wait to get to my property and get the cabin built and start a garden myself. Tired of buying veggies at the store.

There is something to be said about hot dogs over an open fire. I like my hot dogs burnt. As a matter of fact, I like all my meat burnt.

Actually, it really wasn't that cold. A little breezey. It was fun. I think it is more satisfying when you don't have company a lot and when they do come, it is more enjoyable if you get my meaning.

Just got my check for over $500.

Sometimes people don't believe me when I tell them about how much money you can make by taking paid surveys at home...

So I show them a video of myself actually getting paid over $500 for participating in paid surveys to set the record straight once and for all.
